We are excited to announce that the results of a descendant of the O’Conor Don line can now be made public. He is R-BY18115+, which is exactly where he was anticipated to be. This can be seen on the DCG Cladogram at the above link. We cannot give precise details in order to respect his privacy, but he has a verified pedigree dating back to Tairdelbach Már Ó Conchobair (1088 AD – 1156 AD), considered to be the last High King of Ireland. We hope to see more refinement over the next few weeks, but this is a fantastic result and goes a long way to proving the traditional Irish genealogies are not mere fantasy or BS!

The results have been finalized on The Big Tree. They have restructured the R1b-BY18115 clade significantly, which can be seen at the link above. This restructuring has made the Y-Haplotree more logical.
